After almost a year since my last publication, I am back!
This book was originally conceived about three years ago, in
2022. I read the Bible continuously, and during one of these readings, the idea
came to me:
“What if I create contemporary short stories to illustrate
the Proverbs?”
After the idea came the action. In each chapter, I grouped
the Proverbs and made some notes about their themes. And that was it. I left
the file and dedicated myself to other projects.
Many things have happened since the idea and the initial
action. Projects, innovations, the arrival of AI—in short, everything has
changed.
I decided to resume this project, but this time with a
different focus. Instead of writing each of the stories myself, I decided to
use AI for this task. Of course, it was not that simple.
I always use Google AI Studio for long and complex tasks.
And this time was no different. I started a chat by sending some files from my
previous books, explained what I would like to do, sent my notes, and we began
to generate the stories.
The result… For me, excellent. Although we are talking about
an artificial intelligence, the narratives are very vivid and emotional. The AI
managed to capture the essence of the themes and bring them into the real
world.
Furthermore, the AI helped me create a book that is less
tiresome and more condensed. Starting from chapter 10 of Proverbs, each verse
is a proverb; by the division I had made, there would have been almost or more
than thirty stories per chapter. I discussed this with the AI, and it was
suggested to group the proverbs by theme and create one story per grouping. In
this way, they were reduced to four or five stories per chapter, following the
logic of the first chapters, where several verses form one proverb.
For my book, I divided Proverbs into two parts, 1-15 and
16-31. This way, I avoid copyright issues related to the biblical text, as the
related verses are placed before each story.
I hope you appreciate this work done with two brains, human
and machine, and soon, the second part will be released.
This is my first book published in the six languages in
which I work.
