“This is the will of God for his people!” A man cried out dramatically in the pulpit of a Protestant church.
All the people applauded his speech, and many cried words of praise. And those were not the usual screams heard in the churches; they were extremely dramatic and almost theatrical.
Most of the people shouted hysterically, and besides the shouts, they moved uncontrollably, trembled, fell to the floor, and spun with open arms. That service was a mess; nobody could understand what was taking place. And the more people became confused, the more the man in the pulpit screamed dramatically.
Amid all this peculiar service, a woman was sitting on a padded chair, observing everything. This young woman observed and was confused.
God, is this right? She thought. Is this a service to God? What’s happening here?
