The Greed

The greed is never satiated,

The more the person has, the more she wants.

What matters is to possess, to possess, and to possess.

It seems the possession represents completeness.

The person wants to buy all things,

She goes to the mall to spend her money,

Even if she could bring everything,

She would not satiate herself.

It seems she is like the daughters of the leech:

She only wants to know about give and give.

In this way is impossible to keep,

The Earth will not be a good place to live,

In a moment, everything will finish.

It will not have water to drink,

Neither air to breathe,

Neither food to eat.

Nobody will take it anymore.

The problem is that nobody thinks about no one.

Each one only wants to get more possessions,

Each one only wants to gain more money.

And after that, each one will spend it.

Nobody wants to help needy people,

Because greed will not satisfy itself.

Living like that, our world is going to destruction,

Everybody is bad, and nobody has good intentions,

We are putting aside people's lives,

And by greed's addiction, we are being guided.

This reality needs to change,

People must be conscious.

Rampant consumerism must stop,

We must stop buying everything.

In the others, we must start to think.

Just like that, this world will subsist.
