The people continued talking about their experiences. Paul and Claude got touched by every story.
After the end of the meeting, Paul and Claude were talking outside the church. Paul said, “I repeat my question, why did you bring me here? Do you wanna disturb my sense of investigation?”
“I don’t wanna disturb you. I wanna you believe in me and them.”
Paul said seriously, “Claude! I can’t do anything! It’s the police procedure! If there is no proof, there is no investigation.”
“Paul, I’m also from the police and know the procedures. But don’t you have any intuition?”
“I have. But it’s not enough to do something.”
“Do you remember your first great investigation?”
“Yes, I do. It was something unforgettable.”
