They and You

They live luxurious and wealthy lives,

You always struggle to survive.

They have it all and pay for nothing,

You fight hard to get your bills paid.

They live with opulence and grand display,

You control the meals’ costs every day.

They wear clothes and jewels that are so pricey,

You always look for the lowest prices.

They hold great power in their hands,

You do not have a say in any commands.

They do not care about anyone at all,

You, whenever you can, answer a needy person's call.

They do not know what justice is,

You for sure know what injustice means.

They create laws that will bring calamity,

You pretend to be blind to the catastrophe.

They treat others as if they are less,

You admire them in your humbleness.

They promise that everything will be done,

You believe and vote for them, one by one.

They lie without any worry or caution,

You delude yourself and ignore every accusation.

They will never think about you,

You also will never think about yourself, too.

They will never make your reality improve,

You will always keep your mediocre moves.

My new book is hot off the presses!

I’m finishing minor details and soon it will be available.

Don’t lose it!

Appreciate samples of the cover and the poem.

“Mind is like a house with many divisions,

At them live memories, feelings, and emotions.

Each of the rooms has its own appearance,

Each one has its own organization and essence.”

Work can never stop!

I started a new project for another book. This time, I returned to contemporary poetry after a long break.

This work will bring up themes that I have yet to explore. See a sample of what's in production.

Are you feeling terrible pain?

The pain will go away soon; that too will pass.

Are you experiencing exceptional joy?

Enjoy it fully; that too will pass.

Are you tired of seeing injustice and evil?

Don’t be so angry; that too will pass.

There are days when I appreciate diversion,

I enjoy each moment of relaxation.

I enjoy what happens in all situations.

Sometimes, the day is full of boring,

There is no good moment on it,

The day drags on in great suffering.

Una serata divertente!

Venerdì sera, Carlos passò vicino alla camera e vide che Suzana era splendida. Era truccata, indossava abiti eleganti e scarpe con il tacco ...
