My new book is hot off the presses!

I’m finishing minor details and soon it will be available.

Don’t lose it!

Appreciate samples of the cover and the poem.

“Mind is like a house with many divisions,

At them live memories, feelings, and emotions.

Each of the rooms has its own appearance,

Each one has its own organization and essence.”

My seventeenth book — The Poetry of the Work Volume II

This book is the second one with poems related to situations in the workplace. I tried to express feelings and situations that I'm sure everyone has already faced, at minimum one of them.

Like in the previous book of the series, I wrote with a standard. All poems are composed of five stanzas with three verses. In most poems, all verses rhyme in the stanza.

One more time, I used my new method of translating. I didn't translate literally, I translated by the meaning. This is very useful for better rhymes.

Picture from Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels

At the beginning of the book, I made it clear the book is not based on my personal experiences. All I've written are thoughts, and they are based on many things I heard, read, and learned about the workplace.

This time, you'll notice a different tone in the poems. The first book is more fun and relaxed, but this one has some subjects more serious, like misogyny, racial prejudice, sickness, etc.

I hope you enjoy this new collection.

In 2024, this book was joined with The Poetry of the Work Volume I, creating a new book, Work & Soul: Poems About Professional Life.

The book has been published on April 10th, 2024.

My fifteenth book - Christian Poetry Volume IV

This book is the fourth of a series of Christian poetry, with poems written between 2013 and 2014.

There are poems about many subjects related to the Christian religion, biblical narratives, Christian life, personal life, etc.

One more time, during the revision of the poems, I deleted some from the book. And I also edited others.

I've explained the reason in the text of the second book of the series. See the text:

My seventh book - Christian Poetry Volume II

Picture from Ekaterina Bolovtsova on Pexels

In this book, I followed the same logic as the translation in volume III. I didn't try to keep the exact words. My concern was to keep the same meaning. And one more time, the translation was excellent.

I've used the same logic to set the words of the cross. There are words related to the poems in the book. Besides that, I kept keywords that are on the covers of all books.

My thirteenth book - Christian Short Stories vol. II

This book is my second Christian short storybook. Like the previous book, The Poetry of the Work, I wrote this book with a clear idea about what I would write. Christian's stories about daily life.

Besides that, this book is the first one with detailed characteristics of each place. I've tried to put the main characteristics.

The book has five stories:

Marriages always pass through good and bad moments. Fernanda lives in a bad situation, where there is no happiness, love, or romanticism. She asks herself: “Is this the wedding of my dreams?”

One old lady lives a simple life with few resources and too many difficulties. Even before many problems, she keeps “One unshakable faith”.

The choice of a partnership for a relationship is a critical thing and demands much wisdom. Nicholas delegates the responsibility to God, and he rests, thinking: “I wait for someone sent by God”.

Easter is a date too significant for many people, religions, and nations. The students of one school are tired of meaningless tasks, and they demand to do work about “The history of Easter”.

Maxwell is a young Christian boy who seeks to do what is right before God. But in his journey, he notices many wrong things in the church and the Christians. He tries to understand: “What is wrong with the Christians?”

The book has been published on August 01st, 2022.

My eleventh book - Christian Poetry Volume III

This book is the third one of a series of Christian poetry, with poems written between 2013 and 2014.

There are poems about many subjects related to the Christian religion, biblical narratives, Christian life, personal life, etc.

One more time, during the revision of the poems, I deleted some from the book. And I also edited others.

I've explained the reason in the text of the second book of the series. See the text:

In this book, I did something different while I was translating. Generally, I try translating using the same words as the Portuguese version, but in English (too many times) and Spanish (a few times), it’s hard to find some rhymes.

In this translation, I didn't try to keep the exact words. My concern was to keep the same meaning.

This thought worked very well. I've found better rhymes in many situations. I think this is my best translation.

I've used the same logic to set the words of the cross. There are words related to the poems in the book. Besides that, I kept keywords that are on the covers of all books.

My Tenth Book - Christian Short Stories

This book is my first Christian short storybook. I produced it from some texts I wrote years ago for theatrical presentations in the church.

Picture from Monica Silvestre on Pexels

Because of the original purpose, I had to adapt the text. Then, a text for reading is different from a text to be interpreted.

Besides that, this book is the first one with detailed physical characteristics of the characters. Everybody has:

  • Hairstyle and hair color
  • Skin color
  • Eyes color
  • Weight and height

(I hope I don't have made any mistakes. It's hard to describe in another language).

The book has five stories:

Two men are in court waiting for the judge who will judge them. This judge is none other than Jesus Christ. One of them is fully confident he had a perfect life; the other knew he was a sinner. “The Judgment Seat of Christ” will be a judgment with too many revelations.

Three children talk about Christmas, and Victor says one thing that his friends do not know; he talks about Jesus. Now, everyone will go to Victor’s house for his father to explain, “What is the Meaning of Christmas?

One History” will be told. Discover who the characters are.

During crises and difficult moments, the doubts rise: “Who is God’s Servant?” Who will help needy people?

One man thinks that all happenings in his life are the Devil’s fault. One day, the Devil goes to him to complain about the charges and show him that “It is not the Devil’s Fault”.

The book has been published on December 24th, 2021.

My eighth book - Exposed Lives

This book has a fun story about its origin.

Picturo from Pixabay on Pexels

I didn't create the history base. (Why? How? Tell me more).

Picture from Olya Kobruseva on Pexels

The original history base has been created by my wife, Ana Carolina. (Is she a writer?). She isn't a writer, she is my inspiration 💓💓💖💖💗💗.

She was always joking about a story. One day I decided to write about that. She helped me to do the first draft.

Picture from Lum3n on Pexels

We made the draft. And I began to write the book. While I was writing I had to change some parts of the story, to fit them better in the book. However, the main idea was kept.

While writing, I found a new tool to support me in translating, Google Docs. This is an excellent tool. You put the text in the document, and there are some suggestions.

Besides that, I found another excellent tool to check Spanish translations, Spanish Checker. The site works like Grammarly, checking grammar, orthography, and  syntaxis, and showing suggestions. The site also gives a grade for the text.

The book talks about a young man, Louis. He is close to marrying his fianceé, Talitha. At the moment where he began to gather his documents for the civil marriage, he had a sad surprise. The hospital and notary public were closed, and there was no information about their files.

Picture from Samer Daboul on Pexels

The search for the documents triggers new happenings. And new people got close to him and his friends.

The book was published on August 22nd, 2021.

My seventh book - Christian Poetry Volume II

This book is the second one of a series of Christian poetry, with poems written between 2013 and 2014.

There are poems about many subjects related to the Christian religion, biblical narratives, Christian life, personal life, etc.

During the revision of the poems, I deleted some from the book. (Why?)

Picture from Plataforma Redigir

At the time that I wrote the poems, I had a narrow vision of Christian life. Today, I'm mature in faith, and I have more knowledge. Because of this, I know that some poems aren't according to biblical teachings. There were no biblical texts to support them. They were only personal opinions.

Picture from Miguel Á. Padriñán on Pexels

Do you remember what I said about the words of the cross in the history of the first book?

I said that I used some logic to set the words in the second book. The logic is using words related to the poems in the book. Besides that, I set keywords that will be on the covers of all books.

My sixth book - Diverse Poems Volume II

This book is a collection of poems from different moments of my life. One part of them is from the beginning of my writing career, between 2011 and 2015. Another part is from 2020.

The subjects of the poems are very diverse. I wrote about relationships, people's attitudes, news, and romance (I love you, Ana Carolina, my princess).

Imagen de Startup Stock Photos on Pexels

The poems from 2020 were strongly influenced by the moment, COVID-19 pandemic.

Picture from Startup Stock Photos on Pexels

I wrote about the worst consequence of the pandemic, deaths. The poems Ten Thousand People and One Hundred Twenty Thousand tell about days when Brazil reached these terrible numbers. (Until today, February 20th, 2025, more than 715,000 have already died).

Manuas - Amazonas / Picture from Exame.com

Besides that, I wrote about animal abandonment (Best friend), politics (The man of the division, Promises for life), and other subjects.

The book was published on April 23rd, 2021, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Update April 04th, 2022

Continuing my revision to publish on other platforms, I updated this book. I removed some poems from the book. I made it because I understood these poems were not according to the book's purpose.

My fourth book - Approved for Life

This book was the first one that I wrote in three languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish.

In the beginning, I had many doubts about whether I really could do this. I thought: “I'm not a native English speaker, neither a fluent speaker. Probably I will give up when things get hard”.

Picture from Lucas Pezeta on Pexels

I began to write, and little by little, I noticed that I could translate it into English. It was the first time that I tried something like that. At this time, I still hadn't published anything in English. I felt I had to take this step. I had to try becoming a three language writer. One time I heard: “If you want to get great things, you have to do things the people don't do”. Then I did it.

Picture from Анна Рыжкова(Anna Ryzhkova) on Pexels

To help with the writing I used the following sites:

Oxford Learner's Dictionary

Grammarly (text revision)

Google Translator (words and expressions I didn't know)

These sites have helped me since that time.

Now, let's talk about the book. The book is about a man in the public service of Brazil. He only wants to have a stable job, without any concerns, with a good wage and gratifications.

He began to work as a sportive coach for Betim's city administration, in a poor neighborhood. There, he faces many challenges and discovers too many bad things about public service. (I'm sorry, but I can't give you many details. If not, you won't read the book.) The book has a different idea from other stories about sports coaches and pupils.

The book was published on August 17th, 2020.

Update: February, 24th, 2022

I made some updates and improvements to this book.

I revised the translation, and I included the physical characteristics of the characters. Now each one of them has skin, hair and eye color, hairstyle, and information about their physical shapes.

Besides that, I made a new cover for the book. I think this new cover is better than the previous one.

Soon, I'll explain why I made the revision...

My third book - Poetry and Life (Life Through the Words)

The poems were written between 2019 and 2020. These were the first poems that I wrote after a long time without writing poems.

In the beginning, I didn't think to gather them in a book. I wrote the poems and sent them to some people on WhatsApp.

The subjects are very diverse. However, most of them are about personal life. About situations and solutions. About thoughts and feelings. I tried to express feelings and perceptions about things.

I had many good replies. People said the poems made them reflect and think about the subject. With this kind of reply, I was satisfied, my mission as a writer had been accomplished.

Picture from Djordje Petrovic on Pexels

Some poems are about things I lived and learned. I poetically expressed my experiences to show other people there is something to learn in all situations. And the most important thing, God is with us all the time

Picture from The mountaineer

The poems have some metrics. Most of them have five stanzas.  And all have long verses. They are like short poetic stories, with a beginning, middle and end. Some of them finish with a reflection or advice.

The book has been published on the following dates:

Portuguese and Spanish: April 04th, 2020

English: January 1st, 2021

Update April 10th, 2022

Continuing my revision to publish on other platforms, I updated this book. This time, I changed virtually everything. I changed the title, cover, and description.

Why did you do it?

To be sincere, I noticed the previous title "Poetry and Life" didn't make sense. The book wasn't a poetry book, it was a book with some reflections about life, and these reflections had a bit of poetry. Then, I decided to change the title for Life through the words.

Besides that, I removed some poems from the book. I made it because I understood these poems were not according to the book's purpose.

I hope these changes help to sell more.
